So you want to make your own hold down clamps? Excellent. Here are the drawings I used to make the clamps in this video.
This the drawing set for the stylish hold down clamps. Drawing is also annotated with the variations I made during the build.
I used 360 Brass and 4140 Steel for the components but other materials would work as well.
In addition you will need:
(2 per clamp) SHCS, 5/16″-18 X 2-1/2″LG, BLK OX (90044A141)
Of course if you make a set of your own I’d love to see how they come out or what improvements you might come up with!
